Surrey resident Alberto Heide was born in Vancouver in 1972. In October 2015, Alberto wrote and performed in a play called Red and Blue. Again, in May 2017, Alberto wrote and performed a one-man piece called Banana which was produced by Kickstart Disability Arts and Culture. These works were received with success.

Alberto, also currently, has a book published called Short Stories: Some Seeing Through the Blind Experience. This can be found through Amazon and Kindle. Currently, he is working with Kickstart Disability Arts and Culture as a member of the Access to the Arts for All Audit Team.
